Artist Bio
As one of the industry’s top bass performers, Tiffany Lloyd is known across the globe for her instrumental mastery. Having founded TiffsBass® in 2011, the artist, entrepreneur, creator, director, performer, and songwriter has pivoted her passions into a profitable and purposeful business. Tiffany’s fans experience the promotion of love and positivity through her performances, developing a heightened sense of awareness for the messages her music communicates.
TiffsBass is the only female bassist member of the Grammy Award Recording Academy of the Washington D.C. Chapter. She is also a mentor for the Recording Academy’s Grammy U program, as well as for Jammcard, where she gives expert advice on navigating one’s career and developing one’s skillset.
In January of 2023, Tiffany "TiffsBass" Lloyd was included in Marquis Who’s Who in America for her dedication to the Entertainment Industry. In all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals that are profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
On stage, TiffsBass has been privileged to work with National and International Recording Artists Yolanda Adams, Ledisi, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Dennis Chambers, Sofia Carson, Jae Deal, Lynn Whitfield, Mo'Horns, Maysa Leak, Avery Sunshine, Sasha Allen, Paula Champion, Mrs. Kristen Scott of Basketball Wives of L.A., Kenny Lattimore, KeKe Wyatt, Lisa Raye, Todd Dulaney, Chris Woods, and more. She currently has two music singles published called "Viscosity” and “Paradise.”
Among Tiffany's many accomplishments, she is the first black female bass guitarist to endorse the custom, hand-crafted Elrick Bass Guitars. She is also the first USA-based endorsee of GRBass amps! Tiffany’s artist endorsements also include Bartolini Pickups & Electronics, LK Straps, Collabrio Studio and her favorite string brand, Elixir Strings.
Among TiffsBass’ multiple magazine, radio & podcast interviews, and music videos, she was featured in Bass Musician’s Magazine in the February 2021 issue, as well as Global Woman Magazine in the July 2021 issue.
TiffsBass was the bassist for the Off-Broadway play, “For Colored Girls” by Ntozake in Manhattan, New York. Just this spring, TiffsBass was afforded the amazing opportunity to be the bassist for the Grammy Recording Academy’s Grammy on the Hill event in April of 2022.
